Gryffindor is still in the lead as Alohomora turns one month old! Thanks to everyone for your activity and fun. :) OTMs will be sent to the poll once more in a couple of days.
And the plot is about to have a very surprising twist. ;) You'll find out eventually. Just don't bother asking me; my lips are sealed.

Yay! The site will most likely be up by tomorrow afternoon! All we have to do is fix a few problems in the coding and add a few more boards, and everything will be ready! =)

Ok, It’s august 4th and the site is almost done, a few simple adjustments are being placed together, things are going up rather nicely and the board looks really good. We have a few new Staff members that are all wonderful people and are all working diligently to ensure that the site is up and running as soon as possible.

This day was just getting worse and worse.
First, for what ever reason, Rivers had just failed a big test. That was bad. Really bad. If her brother ever got a hold of her he would probably give her a stern lecture on how she'd never get a good job and end up living on the streets like some kind of bum.
Which made her kind of confused, seeing as she could magically multiply money if she wanted too. Of course, that'd be cheating, or at least that's how her big brother put it.
She loved him, he was just kind of off on a few things.
Second, she was lost. Utterly and completely lost.
The stairways had changed just as she was about to get off on the third floor, and now she was on the sixth. And, being impatient and snappier than usual today, she decided to walk around. You know, not wait for the staircase to go back down to the third floor. No way.
Third... well... this bathroom was really dirty. It looked as if no one had been in here for years. Although, it smelled cleaner than the rest of the bathrooms in this school. Rivers smiled to herself, wondering if she'd discovered some sort of new secret that she'd only tell... her friends.
Well, that'd be sort of a chore, seeing as she didn't have any. But, anyway, more bathroom to herself.
Sitting on one of the sinks, she looked into the dusty mirror and thought about some things. Mainly, what her brother would say when he discovered that she'd been wandering around the school by herself, without the consent of a professer. Psh. Seventh years.
He'd just turned eighteen and he was acting like he was the boss of... everything. Ever. He'd been admitted to Hogwarts early because the muggle school that he'd attended was already in progress.
Rivers pushed a lock of black hair behind her ear and curled it in her fingertips. "My, my, a Slytherin..." She heard behind her. She casually turned around and, upon seeing that no one was there, asked nonchalantly "Who's there?" "No one in particular." It replied. "I see." She said, turning back to the mirror. Probably Peeves, just trying to get on her nerves. She hated that poltergeist.
She hopped down from the sink and wandered to the exit of the bathroom. But just as she was about to leave, she heard a shriek. Her eyes burst open and she turned around. "Brother? Are you in here?" She asked. She heard another shriek. A shriek of pain. And it was definitely her brother. "Brother!? Where are you? I can't see you!" She cried. She looked around. No one was in the bathroom except for her. "H..Hold on! I'll go get help...!" She ran out of the bathroom, but as soon as she stepped out, the screeching stop, leaving her confused and scared. "Peeves. I'll kill 'im." He was probably having himself a good laugh right now. 'I just scared the Linnet girl! HAHAHA!" She could imagine it.
Just as she was turning to find her way back to the stairs, she saw someone. In front of her. Odd. She hadn't heard anyone behind her when she walked out. "Who's there?" She demanded, putting her hands on her hips and pooching her lip out.
If that was the person causing her to have a massive panic attack... she'd kill him.
Wow. You just keep getting stupider and stupider, don't you?

"Brother? Are you in here?" Shadow sighed shacking his head, the students who wondered in here really didn't understand why this place was called bathroom of horros do they? he wondered, this was the girls bathroom. But he was the janitor and so had to clean out the bathroom. What a great job blinde janitors do? he thought sarcasticly having a mop and broom as he stold just outside the door listening to this screaming and calling inside. He had long ago ignored these sounds.
"silly girl isn't she Lizy." he muttered to the baby on his back that held on herself, she was about 2 months old and very younge. she had magic spells that he;d her from fall off, it was easier with her just hangingthere when she was doing his job. Hard to keep a eye on her when he had no sight to do that with.
. "Brother!? Where are you? I can't see you!". "H..Hold on! I'll go get help...!" The girl ran past him, he felt her breeze and the smell of the blood, also her fresh personal fragrence as she ran with a heart racing faster. she paused and he slipped into the bathroom. placing his mop on the side. . "Peeves. I'll kill 'im." .
Shadow smierked listening to the girl as he felt around the bathroom, he knew thi castle better then anyone else even when he hadn't seen it he felt his way around knew every curve and edge of it, finding the tap he turned it on the shrieking and screamshad stopped but the angrey girl outside was still there. He filled the bucket and slid it onto the floor. Lizy still slept soundly on his back unfazed use to being carried around.

Helena sat on a dusty windowsill, looking out the window,in the old bathroom, deemed the Bathroom of Horrors ever since one hundred years ago when a silly group of first years had discovered her and Peeves in there. She's been having an argument with him because it was her territory, and he was invading it. She'd gotten her way; Peeves had left, and no one else ever came to bother her. They were too afraid, with the exception of a few bold ones. And, the Bloody Baron always took care of them for her. Though she'd taken an oath long ago to loathe him, she was grateful for that fact.
A girl was at that very moment having a panic attack. Funny, seeing as she was a Slytherin. "Always putting on bold airs, but catch themselves in a scary situation alone, and look what happens," she sighed. The girl was about to leave to rescue her brother but realized Peeves was out in the hall playing a prank. Helena smiled. Peeves would never come in the bathroom.
Helena scrutinized the girl before her, looking into the wild eyes. She recognized her. She'd seen her with her brother before; he was attractive. Helena liked watching the boys around Hogwarts, though she only talked to certain ones. "Why are you here?" she asked smoothly. The ghost's voice was smooth, like honey, but it also was haughty. It could mesmerize some, frighten others, and raise feelings of agitation in others.
Before the girl could answer, the janitor entered with his pretty little daughter Lizy. Helena sat up and smiled, though he couldn't see her. She found him a bit like herself, and outcast in the shadows. They talked often when he cleaned the bathroom. He knew a lot about her story, as she did his. "Hello Shadow."

Shadow felt for his mop and mixture to put in the bucket just as he heard. "Hello Shadow."
Shadow no longer jumped when he was suprsied, This was the only thing that suprsied him these days humans were so noisy with there running blood and pumping hearts and noisy movments even when they breath....more and more noise no wonder they complain of headaches so much! But when a ghost was near and was silent, they made no sound at all no breathing just floating blissfully. He reconized the womans voice of the ghost. "Hello." he replied and went silent again his head down blindly mixing the mixture of things i with the water to clean the floors, it smelt bad and gave him a head ache so he stopped breath all together so it would have way less effect on him. "was that you scaring away that girl?" he asked simply.

Hello. Shadow seemed unaffected and began to mop the floor. Helena didn't mind much. She was used to being lost in her own thoughts. After a moment, he asked if it had been her to scare the girl. She laughed disdainfully. "Oh no, I only scare away girls when-" she ceased talking at that moment and turned to look out the window once more. She chided herself for almost telling Shadow that she scared away girls when she saw them flirting with any of the cute boys at Hogwarts. Instead, she carefully finished, "No, that was all Peeves' fault. Nasty little poltergeist that he is, he knows he's not allowed in this bathroom, but he likes to torment people from the hallway." Helena tried to press her fingers to the window, but they went straight through to the other side. She frowned, diasppointed. It was raining outside, and she wished terribly to feel it once more. "Girl, you can come in here if you like. Shadow and I don't bite." She stopped and smiled to herself as she added softly, "Well, at least I can't, and he chooses not to anymore.

Shadow did not care,"was the girl perving on someone in here?" he asked as she cut off.
"No, that was all Peeves' fault. Nasty little poltergeist that he is, he knows he's not allowed in this bathroom, but he likes to torment people from the hallway." "sure, sure." he muttered, Lizy yawned but still slept on his back, Shadow reached back and patted her ead gentily then mopped back and forth spreading the watery liquid.
"Girl, you can come in here if you like. Shadow and I don't bite." "Well, at least I can't, and he chooses not to anymore." Shadow snorted and then started laughing, a real laugh. osomething that he had not done in a long time. he glanced in the ghosts direction off a bit to the left. "When did i say i no longer bite?" he asked now she had his attention.

was the girl perving on someone in here?" Helena looked at Shadow reproachfully, wondering how on Earth he could possibly know her secret. She'd never told him, then again...Girls had big mouths now days, didn't they? At least the ones at Hogwarts loved to gossip.
Helena stopped looking longingly out the window when she heard Lizy yawn. She smiled at the sleeping little angel. She had always had a soft spot for children, and when she spoke to them, no hints of pretesion or condescension were in her voice.
Shadow began laughing, actually laughing, at her whispered comment about his not biting any more. She looked at him, eyes narrowed. That's right; he has an acute sense of hearing, she thought, not really caring that he'd heard, but wondering about his laughter.
When did i say i no longer bite? Helena stood and floated down the the circular sink in the middle, on which she sat on top of. She thought for a moment, wondering why she had said that. "Well," she said with the merest hints of smiles, "Hogwarts can't be hiring vampires, even in janitorial positions, can they now? Your job requires you to be in a castle full of promising students often."

Shadow was staring in her direction thoughtfully, Lizy had reached up and touched his cheek, even as a little baby she was alreayd learning and helping him. when she did that it was her way of showing she was awake.
"Hello Lizy sleep well?" he smiled to her and her only, still thinking over what the ghost lady had said. "Just because i have learnt to controll my own hunger dose not mean i have stopped dirnking, that is queit impossaible. os you tell me...if i no longer bite, how do i get fresh blood?" he asked wondering how much about him she knew? stupid spying Ghost.

The Grey Lady watched Shadow and Izzie sadly, for she knew he could not see her face, nor sense her since she was a ghost. She wished she had not been so tragically young when she died, for she would have liked to fall in love and have children someday, or so she thought now, after many years of reflection.
She crossed her arms and leaned back at his next speech. Her spoke to her as if she were stupid for not knowing about vampires. In truth, she had never known much about them, nor did she cared to. They had been a frightening, yet facinating topic her mother had never let her study. "Well, I suppose I just assumed the school would want their students to be safe. I do know much, but vampires are not a subject I do know much of, nor do I care to." She shifted her poisition and looked into the water for her reflection. Unsurprisingly, it was not there. Why are you so unkind, Shadow? Haven't you known me long enough that you can be pleasant, maybe happy to speak with me?" she asked with a hint of hope, but still in her usual cool tone.

Shadow kissed Lizys forhead and she giggled pushing his chin away with her tiny hands he pretended to fight against her and plant another kiss on her cheek he could feel the heat it was as if she was embarrassed to be kissed. he laughed softly and hugged her gentily, he could not even hug his own duahgter as tight as he wanted in fear he could crush her with his own arms. "well don't assume things you don't know a lot about and maybe you would not make wrong assomtions." he said not looking in the ghosts idrection any more and went back to work.

The Grey Lady smiled. Assumptions were often what she drew with people; it was one of her flaws, but she never jumped to conclusions with logic; she was highly intelligent. Shadow fell to silence, and Helena floated about, wondering where she would go next. The clock tower had some appeal; it had a very nice view of the school grounds. To be kind means you have some sort of liking towards someone else...I have never said i like you or enjoy your company. Also it means to have some sort of trust or faith towards that person, respect that person owns...you have not, nor do i think i have known you long enough so forget it. Helena drew back, stung. She knew Shadow wasn't a kind man, nor was he someone who made friends easily, but when you were a ghost, friends were a rarity one expected to find by chance. She'd thought that maybe, just maybe, Shadow had been that chance, but she realized now she was wrong. "You are impossible!" she said heatedly. "Not enjoy my company. How can you say that? Tell me something, Mr.Cooper. How many people do you know that will carry on an intelligent conversation with you and not care at all who you are, hm? Respect is not what I'm looking for, nor do I need it." She flew around the room faster, feeling angry. "Honestly, I wonder why I even bother with you sometimes."

Shadow did not mind the pause of silence after what he had said, akward of not he did not feel the tenstion nor did he care for it. "You are impossible!" "Not enjoy my company. How can you say that? Respect is not what I'm looking for, nor do I need it." "Honestly, I wonder why I even bother with you sometimes." By the tone of her voice she was angrey and by the way her voice was moving she was pacing around silently, he hated it when ghosts moved while speaking he could not hear any foot steps or any other proof of the ghost moving only there voice it was very frustrating! "Oh shut ya trap no one cares who i am and if they did there just Vampire wanna bes or kidnappers or probley someone who just wants to hurt me...no one really wants to know someone else unless there getting something from them, and i have nothing to offer anyone." he replied grumpily.

Helena could see by Shadow's facial expressions how it annoyed him for her to be floating about from place to place while speaking. He never knew where she was unless her voice betrayed her. Normally, she would have considered this and not moved much, but both her mind and feelings were agitated, and she liked seeing his in the same manner.
Oh shut ya trap no one cares who i am and if they did there just Vampire wanna bes or kidnappers or probley someone who just wants to hurt me...no one really wants to know someone else unless there getting something from them, and i have nothing to offer anyone Helena stopped moving. She'd never thought about how completely neglected Shadow felt; she'd only known they were both outcasts of a sort, and lonely though they didn't admit it often, if at all. She blinked, switched seats, blinked again, and began talking in her pleasant, charming voice, the anger now gone, though much of it still laid beneath. That's not true,she said softly. I don't want anything from you. What could you possibly have to offer me, anyway? I suppose sometimes, that is how the living work, but those are the selfish creatures who don't cary for anyone save themselves, and even then they are lonely. she sighed. I used to be like them, but being a ghost has changed my perspective...somwhat. You see, there are those who do care for others unselfishly, and I quite admire them. She stood and began floating slowly, speaking as she went. Do you honestly want to live caring about no one but yourself and Lizzie, Shadow? She stopped a few feet away from him, waiting for a response.

Shadow turned his head in a random direction, Lizy was tugging his hair and Shadow did not notice the little baby at all, she could tear out all his hair and Shadow would still love her to bits. I used to be like them, but being a ghost has changed my perspective...somewhat. Well those who serve good tend to get good rewards, unlucky I have never met anyone like that. The Grey Lady arched an eyebrow, correcting his grammer in her head, a habit she'd picked up from her mother. serve well she thought without opening her mouth. She watched, almost jealously, as Shadow went over to Lizzy. He stroked her head so gently, so caringly. Rowena knew the look on his face though she had little experience with it; it was love.
There is no one else to love, he spoke. The last persons I did ended up dead because of me….and one day Lizy will end up the same Her ears weren't as keen as his, and she didn't quite hear the last part as he trailed off. She looked at Shadow sadly, pitying him more than she pitied herself. No one else to love, or no one else you will let yourself love?"she asked softly. I see the way you look at her, Lizzy I mean. Don't tell me you don't love her. I think everyone is capable of loving, some of us are just scared to. She said the last part more to herself than Shadow. It was true. Fighting love was what had gotten her killed, and it was a harsh lesson she was still learning. She floated toward the door, thinking she'd said too much.

No…I know I love her I always will…and I am foolish that I do. Helena wondered at Shadow's antithetical thoughts on love. He seemed so afraid of it, or was it just bitterness? Yet, he did love...loved at least one person in that undying sort of way Helena had never understood but longed for all the same.
“leaving so soon?” She spun around, caught off guard. The Grey Lady was rarely at loss of words, but now, noticing Shadow's gaze, which was directly at her, she stammered. The tips of shadows fingers twitched. he turned his head. all slight colour faded. "Only because i was being so still." he muttered, it was hard to explain but he sometimes got glimses of things when he wasn't concerntrating on things. it was a rare occastion and one of the few things he treasured now. "I don't wanna talk about it....but yes i'm blinde." he muttered ever lower his voice such a whisper and yet a growl warding her off.

It has been a year since Harry Potter defeated Voldemort in the Battle of Hogwarts. The world has finally gotten a period of blissful peace after the many years of Voldemort's terrors. The Ministry of Magic in London has begun to bond with other countries, and has therefore created bonds with other Magical Schools.
Teams of Aurors have already captured every Death Eater and put them in Azkaban. The Ministry has ceased any uprisings, desparate to make the peace last for centuries more. The world seems to be getting brighter and brighter by the minute.
How long will this last?
Suddenly, armies of Muggles begin to destruct the Magical World. But, how did they get in? Aren't Muggles supposed to suddenly remember an appointment when they neared magical communities? There must be someone controlling them; someone has to be working behind the scenes... Someone who wants to revive the Dark Lord's prophecies.
