Emery was glad when she found the empty corridor. She was sick of people always judging her and running in fear just because she was a vampire. It wasn't her fault she had this life brought on to her. She was always very open to everyone that she was a vampire. She didn't believe in having secrets. It only caused more trouble. Being alone didn't make her terribly happy either. Emery thrived most with friends but alone, she might as well not exist.
Many people were frightened of her thinking that she was going to suck their blood or something. She never really had time to explain that she was different. She feed on animals because she didn't have the heart to kill anyone. Her diet of animal blood satisfied her enough so that the thirst didn't burn in her throat. Sure the smell of human blood was tempting but Emery made sure she didn't loose control.
Planting herself on the ground, she leaned her back on the wall and took out a muggle book called Dracula she found. She loved reading because it's perception of vampires was so wrong. It amused her greatly. She didn't have fangs nor did she not have reflect. She was like any other person really except for the fact she drank blood and didn't eat human food what so ever. As being a vampire made her exceptionally beautiful bringing many guys to fancy her just because of her looks. Emery only wished someone would see through her vampiric exterior and see the true Emery.

Jesse walked through the hallways on the second floor, normally he would be outside and would think about things. It seemed that somehow his life had taken a weird turn, but he wasn't sure how he should feel about it. He had gone outside for a little while, untill it had started to rain. Normally he wouldn't care about rain, but this time it seemed to rain very hard and it probably was for the better that he had gone inside again. His hands were in the pockets of his soaked pants, his tie loose around his neck and the sleeves of his white and now wet shirt were rolled up.
His blue eyes looked around from under his wet blond hair as he walked past all the people. Some of them were looking at him rather strange, but he didn't care. If he didn't got his quiet time outside, then he would go to the empty corridor, not a lot of people went there.
After a few minutes he reached it and he went around the corner, staring in the usual empty corridor. But this time it seemed that someone had beat him to it. A gryffindor girl, and not any gryffindor. It was Emery Brooks also known as the bloodsucker. Not that Jesse really cared, after all he was a Slytherin muggle born and to some people that was worse then a vampire or a werewolf. He noticed she was reading a muggle book about vampires. "Funny how muggle think about vampires isn't it?" He asked as he walked over to her. Jesse was a muggle so he knew how they thought about vampires and it was quite a surprise to him when learned about them in here.

Emery was mildly shocked to hear a voice near her let alone speaking to her. Only people who usually talk to her were new students who had no idea what she was or people just making jokes on her behalf. She looked up to the boy to see it was Jesse Warrington, a Muggleborn Slytherin. He might as well be a vampire with the load of nuts he gets. Letting out a chuckle of how wet he was, Emery was happy she didn't have to hunt today. She placed a loose stand of her glossy brown hair behind her ear and closed her book. She smiled politely, "Tell me about it. I've never met anyone quite like Dracula." Emery got up in a half a second when a regular person who have taken a much longer. She often forgot about her superhuman speed and often startled people.
She grew curious of him. "Aren't you afraid of me?" She said in a quiet voice. "How do you know that I'm not going to kill you right here or now?" She mocked many people's theories about her. Emery knew of course she won't kill him. She felt no temptation for his blood whatever, she proudly thought. Emery laughed, "That I'm going to suck your blood?" With in a split second, she appear behind him. "I could take you....right....now." Emery whispered in his ear than pretended to smell his throat. This amused her greatly but in no way was she going to make friends this way.
Laughing to herself, she moved swiftly in front of him, "I'm Emery Brooks, the resident vampire but I bet you already knew that. And you're Jesse Warrington, the muggleborn Slytherin. We're a perfect match." She joked dryly.

"Tell me about it. I've never met anyone quite like Dracula."
Jesse laughed a little when she was talking about Dracula. "Wait untill you see the muggle movies, you'll have a good laugh then" He said as he looked at her getting up rather quickly. He had forgotten about the vampires superspeed and all that, maybe next time he should pay more attention to lessons so he would remember small things like that.
Aren't you afraid of me?" She said in a quiet voice. "How do you know that I'm not going to kill you right here or now?"
Jesse couldn't help but smile when she said that. Did she really think he was that shallow, okay maybe he was a Slytherin but still. He knew perfectly well that if she really wanted she could suck his blood right now, but she was allowed in here, so she probably wasn't any threat, otherwise the headmaster would be crazy, right?
"I could take you....right....now."
When she appeared behind him in a swift movement and whispered those words into his ear, Jesse was expecting to feel a cold shiver or something, but it didn't came. Feeling her breath into his ear actually gave him a warm feeling, something you wouldn't expect when a vampire stood behind you. A small grin appeared on his face and he said "Sorry to dissapoint you, but I'm not scared".
"Sure looks like it" Jesse said as he looked at her when she moved back in front of him. "Nice to meet you Emery" He said and offered her his hand to shake.

To be honest, Emery was disappointed. Not afraid of her? Strange human this one. People's first instinct was to run away from the weird pale girl. But to be honest, she liked that Jesse didn't run away. A hope for a friend. She laughed and shook his hand, "Nice to met you too, Jesse."
"So I'm guessing you now by now that I'm not going to suck your blood or what people think I might do. I'm actually a vegetarian. I know it sounds strange to come from me but it just means I feed on animals. I don't want to kill anyone. Not my style." She joked.
Emery took interest in Jesse. "So what's it like being a muggleborn Slytherin? Must be hell right?" She asked.

Well, now the phrase vegetarion had gotten a whole other meaning to him now. Not really, vampires only drank the blood right, it wasn't like they ate the meat from the creature as well, but he guessed that it did made sense what she said, after all having a human killing vampire inside the school would be very stupid.
"So what's it like being a muggleborn Slytherin? Must be hell right?"
"It could be worse I guess" Jesse said as he leaned with his back against the wall behind him and looked at her. "The pureblood Slytherins are the worst for that matter, but atleast my magic is better then some of them, so they know not to mess with me" He grinned at her a little when he said that. In the beginning it really had been hell, untill they actually started to learn magic, it was easier to take on more people with magic then with your fists. And having a cute face around Slytherin girls always helped as well.

Emery watched him lean against the wall listened to him speak. ""It could be worse I guess. The pureblood Slytherins are the worst for that matter, but atleast my magic is better then some of them, so they know not to mess with me." She sighed. People never understood her really. The only vampire in Hogwarts but certainly not the last. It upset her that vampires were being made left and right. Only a handful choice Emery's lifestyle. "I guess it could be a lot worse for me too. If I didn't have the lifestyle I do today, I don't know where I would be. It scares me to think that I could be killing people right now. People miss other people though they don't really care if a deer or something go missing here and there." She smiled, weakly. "So many people think vampires are evil. Well most are but some aren't. I've heard the one who created me he was bad. I don't know why he wanted to. I'm just a girl but apparently he was obsessed with me. I don't remember much to tell you the truth about my past before coming what I am."
Emery didn't know why she was telling him all this. She hoped that he would understand... maybe. Plus it was good to get all this off her chest for the time being anyway.

Jesse looked at her as she was telling him about her life. He wasn't really sure why she was telling him all that, but he figured that she couldn't tell it to a lot of people around here, because most were scared off her, so she wanted to spill it to someone and Jesse was someone. So, he continued to listen to her, his blue eyes following her every movement.
"I believe it depends on what kind of person you are and this will either turn you into a killing human vampire or actually a good friend which happens to be a vampire" Jesse spoke. He didn't know why, but he already saw Emory as some sort of friend. Okay maybe he was in Slytherin and she was in Gryffindor, but somehow they were both outcasts, her being a vampire and him being a muggle born, so that created some sort of bond right?
It has been a year since Harry Potter defeated Voldemort in the Battle of Hogwarts. The world has finally gotten a period of blissful peace after the many years of Voldemort's terrors. The Ministry of Magic in London has begun to bond with other countries, and has therefore created bonds with other Magical Schools.
Teams of Aurors have already captured every Death Eater and put them in Azkaban. The Ministry has ceased any uprisings, desparate to make the peace last for centuries more. The world seems to be getting brighter and brighter by the minute.
How long will this last?
Suddenly, armies of Muggles begin to destruct the Magical World. But, how did they get in? Aren't Muggles supposed to suddenly remember an appointment when they neared magical communities? There must be someone controlling them; someone has to be working behind the scenes... Someone who wants to revive the Dark Lord's prophecies.
