27/09/2008 - Brandon

Gryffindor is still in the lead as Alohomora turns one month old! Thanks to everyone for your activity and fun. :) OTMs will be sent to the poll once more in a couple of days. And the plot is about to have a very surprising twist. ;) You'll find out eventually. Just don't bother asking me; my lips are sealed.

Yay! The site will most likely be up by tomorrow afternoon! All we have to do is fix a few problems in the coding and add a few more boards, and everything will be ready! =)

Ok, It’s august 4th and the site is almost done, a few simple adjustments are being placed together, things are going up rather nicely and the board looks really good. We have a few new Staff members that are all wonderful people and are all working diligently to ensure that the site is up and running as soon as possible.

Angie jumped from the bed wand in hand dueling postion ready her small feminine muscles tensed under skin. She was strong and knew some decent defensive spells mainly to stop fire. Burns wheren't that good. "Lumos Maximus" She cried out. "show yourself!" She yelled bravely watching the room light up.

(K. This may be a little weird with me using two charries in the same post, but just pretend that they're not both me. *p.s. Jax is kind of a jerk...As you may know from Tambough's rp.*)

Jax chuckled softly to himself, not caring if the girls heard his menacing laugh. Let them be scared, silly girls. He leaned against the wall of the dark sitting room, having just slammed a nearby door. As he twirled his wand around his fingers, his dark eyes flashed with pleasure at the thought of a duel. It had been a few days since he'd had one, and he wanted another. He knew Leeda to be skilled in charms, but her dueling wasn't quite as masterful as his. That girl with her, on the other hand, he was unsure aobut. A worthy opponent, he hoped, though he doubted it from her Beauxbatons history. They weren't dark there like at Durmstrang. He'd learned a lot this past year, and he planned to use it.

Show Yourself! Jax decided it was time to step out of the shadows. He strode over to their room and knoxed his wand for effect. Step, step, step. His boots creaked along the floorboards. "You asked for it," he said stepping into the room. "Scared?"

"Cir' Tarrumm" A small flame emerged fro mher wand and began to twist ellegantly. "Animatra Repitllia" She cried out. Soon the flame was large and snake like and shooting towards Jax. Her father was a transfigration teacher and was verygood with alchemic spells like this one. The flame was a basic ballet fire dancer spell that she had leanrned at beaxbatons. A fusion of beauty wit and dark arts made Angle a keen duelist.

Leeda heard the soft squeaking of shoes in the hallway. Instead of staying where she was, frozen with terror, she silently retreated to a position behind the door, motioning for Angie to prepare herself for the intruder as well.

By the stopping of footsteps, she knew someone had entered. Curiously, she peeked through a crack in the door. She drew back and nearly gasped. There, glaring at Angie, stood Jax Fiend. She hadn't seen him since a year ago, when he still attended Hogwarts. She'd never liked him; though he was extremely handsome, his haughty personality and dark magic detested her.

Angie wasted no time. She immediately set a firey charm upon him. Mentally, Leeda praised her. She saw Jax gearing up to fight back and stayed where she was, wand poised. She didn't want to just jump out at Jax. She wanted to wait until the opportune moment, or see if Angie would need help. If she showed herself now, Jax would have time to prepare for her. She grinned at Angie and made a hand motion, hoping she'd understand not to let on where she was hiding and that she would help in awhile.

(ooc//I'll post as Jax later...gotta go to class.)

Jax looked around. Only one girl stood facing him- the one he didn't know. She had a mischievous gleam in her eyes. "Where's Leeda?" he asked. No answer. Instead, the girl muttered a spell that shot a snakelike flame in his direction. He was surprised, but he didn't let it show. Instead, he stepped to the side. The flame danced nearer him, its tongue swirling in and out. "Not bad, for a dainty Beauxbatons girl," he sneered. The girl sure didn't look dainty, but he figured any girl at that school was. "Haude flamma unda!" he yelled, holding his wand if front of his face and feeling the hot closeness of the flame. He grinned. "Nice try, but I prefer spells that are more effective...immediately."

"velox aer gelua!" He whipped his wand in a spiral and pointed it towards Angie. A rushing sound was heard, and a huge gust of icy cold air was thrown at her full force. It kept going, and he watching in pleasure.

She raised her arms in defense against the thick icy air. She smiled. "Inanamatra" She cried out. Her body became ghost like the air flowing right through her. She breathed in the spell making her dizzy. She waved her hands ellagantly but feircly against the wind. "Lumos Maximus" She said clapping her hands together. The tip of the one concentrated a beam of blinding light to Jax's eyes rushing against the wind.

Leeda could feel the icy cool rush of Jax's wind go by. She was relieved that he didn't see her, but she knew it was time to come out. Angie might need help, and even if not, she couldn't be a coward and hide in the corner, could she? Leeda stepped out of the shadows. "I'm right here, Mr. Fiend," she said with a defying grin playing on her face. The wind was only geared toward Angie, and Leeda was amazed to see her friend become ghost-like, the wind going straight through her.

A bright wave of light shot toward Jax, and Leeda doubled the power by shouting, " Expelliarmus!" Stunned by the light, Jax had not time to counteract her spell, and he flew backward with amazing force, slamming into the door on the opposite side of the hallway. His wand clattered to the ground feet away. Leeda looked at Angie. "You've got to teach me that ghost charm. It's really cool." She ran out the room quickly then to go see if their opponent had been stunned or not.

Angie shrugged. "sure" She looked around. "is the little bastard OK?" She asked walking over to see what the damge was. Her wand still at the ready. She moved a hand through her hair. Making it neet and tidy another Beauxbatons lady thing to do. It was habbit though she hated doing it. She didn't like this boy for one reason. A dainty Beauxbatons girl! How dare he say that. She could tare him limb from limb just for that.

Jax blinked, his eyes flashing darkly as the Beauxbatons girl transformed herself into a ghostlike form. Since when do they learn to do that? He questioned himself angrily. Too quickly for even him, she shot brilliant light at him, momentarily blinding his eyes. He shut them tightly, still seeing stars, and got his wand ready to hurl a major hex back at her- one that would make her wish she'd never taken him on.

Suddenly, a pretty voice shouted Expelliarmus! and he shot backward, hitting his head on the opposing door. The last thought he had was, My wand...
Then blackness...cold, cruel, nothingness.

Jax awoke, his head throbbing. He wanted to open his eyes, his blasted eyes, but a voice in the back of his head told him, No, not yet. Let them think you're still gone. He tried not to groan. Pain was nothing new to him; this was nothing, really. Only a minor injury. But where was that blasted wand, that thing he needed most. He barely opened his eyes. There it was, just four feet away. He closed his eyes and summoned it with all his might in his mind. It wiggled, and then it was in his hands. Deprimo! The second-story floor crumbled beneath them, and all three fell downward. Aliis volat, he said, and he flew to land on top of the staircase, rubbled around him, but mainly beneath him. He searched for the girls somewhere below.

Angie felt the shock of falling and almost screamed. OH no OH no" Her mind started to panic. She raised the wand. "Tortemo Destarto" She screamed as her wand sent a briliant whistle upwards. Soon an orange Dragon the size of a horse woken up by the destruction of part of its building and summoned by the whsitle jumped and caught Leeda on its back and Angie by one of its Tallons. She sighed a pit in her stomache lurching not heights.

1998 - November

It has been a year since Harry Potter defeated Voldemort in the Battle of Hogwarts. The world has finally gotten a period of blissful peace after the many years of Voldemort's terrors. The Ministry of Magic in London has begun to bond with other countries, and has therefore created bonds with other Magical Schools.

Teams of Aurors have already captured every Death Eater and put them in Azkaban. The Ministry has ceased any uprisings, desparate to make the peace last for centuries more. The world seems to be getting brighter and brighter by the minute.

How long will this last?

Suddenly, armies of Muggles begin to destruct the Magical World. But, how did they get in? Aren't Muggles supposed to suddenly remember an appointment when they neared magical communities? There must be someone controlling them; someone has to be working behind the scenes... Someone who wants to revive the Dark Lord's prophecies.
